Many thanks to Megan (age10) and her sister, Amanda (age 12) who brought in their very first
quilts they have made and want to donate to Project Linus! Grandma “K” is teaching them to
quilt and guided them with this summer project, but they did all the sewing themselves. Project
Linus is such a worthy cause “ providing security through blankets”.  Thank you Megan and
Amanda! If you would like to read more about Project Linus, go to our website at http://www.

With Fall around the corner and Farmer’s Markets full of fruits and vegetables, we have a recipe
this week from Gooseberry Patch. This cookbook is titled “Farmer’s Market Favorites”. This recipe
is called “Easy Fettuccine Primavera”.

½ cup creamy Italian salad dressing
1 cup broccoli flowerets
1 cup zucchini, sliced
1 cup red peppers thinly sliced
½ cup onion, chopped
½ t. dried basil
½ cup butter
2 tomatoes, chopped
½ cup mushrooms
Garnish - grated Parmesan cheese

Toss warm pasta with salad dressing; stir to coat. Set aside; cover to keep warm. In a skillet
