We've had a request  for your help with this Service Project.
February is American Heart Month.

We need your help in knitting 1000 newborn hats out of cotton or acrylic yarn
in the color red by January 21, 2015. (must be machine washable).
This project is to raise awareness of babies born with congenital heart defects.
These hats will be distributed to local hospitals.

Thank you.

Many thanks to all of you who are bringing in red newborn hats for the Mending Little
Hearts project.

We have already collected 239 hats!
130 of these hats were donated by Marian Stella and Barb Lutzke and
67 were donated by the "Charity Heart and Comfort" group!

You are all so generous with your time and talents for a great cause!

Donations for other service projects:

This week we would like to thank Patricia Rapp who brought in a huge bag of mittens
and scarves for Cast off the Cold. They sure need these items in this cold weather!

We would also like to thank Sherry Hettinga who brought in a big bag of quilts for
