A Message to Scrapbookers!!!

Have you heard about PROJECT LIFE? -It is a simplified scrapbooking system created
by Becky Higgins.  Her moto is "Cultivate a good life and record it."  Photos and story
cards are placed in divided sheet protectors - no cutting and no glue. You can "keep
up" with your photos and create  an amazing album!

We will soon be able to order the binders, photo pocket pages and Core Kits
(Coordinating title, journalling and filler cards). Many manufacturers have jumped on
board and are producing products that work with Project Life. For example, Hero Arts
has a new line of stamps for making easy story cards.  Chris is SO excited about this
concept and she has already begun taking pictures for her first album!
She envisions workshops at Country Needleworks to create great journaling
and filler cards.  Check out www.beckyhiggins.com and let us know if you are
interested in pre-ordering any products.  Let us know what you think!!

THIS WEEKS RECIPE

This weeks recipe is from Chris, our scrapbook girl. Love her recipes! She said this
recipe was a big hit! She also suggested you use a glass pie plate because this pie is
so pretty as well as delicious!

WHITE CHOCOLATE SILK PIE

Ingredients:

1 -  6 oz. Pkg. Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies, divided
½ cup finely chopped pecans
3 T. Butter, melted
2 (4 oz.) Bars white chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 3/4 milk, divided
1 ( 3-4 oz.)  Pkg. Vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix
2 cups thawed frozen Whipped topping, divided

fresh raspberries and shaved white chocolate

Place 7 cookies in a resealable plastic bag. Seal bag and crush cookies with a rolling
pin. Pour crushed cookies into a medium bowl. Stir in pecans and butter. Press
mixture into bottom and 1/4 inch up the side of a 9 in pie plate. Cut remaining
cookies in half. Place cookie halves, cut side down, around inside edge of pie plate

Refrigerate 1 hour. Heat chocolate and 1/4 cup milk in a 1 quart heavy saucepan over
low heat  until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth, stirring often. Remove
saucepan from heat and let cool to room temperature.

Combine pudding mix and remaining milk in a large bowl and stir according to
package directions. Stir in chocolate mixture, fold in 1 cup whipped topping. Spoon
mixture into cookie crust. Refrigerate 3 hours or until filling is set. Top pie with
