Once a class has started, there are NO refunds on class fee, patterns or needles. We accept credit cards over the phone to hold your place in the class.                                                           SOCIAL KNITTING TIMES Tues. evenings, 6-8pm Wed. mornings, 10am (except once a month on Block of the Month Day, then we meet at 11:30am) Wed. nights, 6-8pm, every other week beginning Aug. 24 Fri. mornings, 10am Anyone who loves to knit or crochet is WELCOME! No need to sign up, just come when you can and have fun!                                                                                                 *** NEW 2012 MONTH BY MONTH KNITTING ***                               CLICK HERE TO SEE DETAILS The Joy of Finishing Class - I had the privilege of taking this class from designer, Chris Bylsma, in June. She graciously gave me permission to pass on her secrets of finishing. Frankly, a sweater can be knitted beautifully, but not put together well.  So keeping that in mind, I'll share with you helpful hints so your finished project will look great! This class has homework to do prior to class time. Please have three 8 x 8 stockinette swatches in a smooth, light colored yarn without selvage stitches or blocking! Complete one of the swatches with a crew neckline. Bind off 1/2 of center stitches when swatch is 6". Then decrease 1 stitch at each neck edge every other row 3 times, continue even until 8". Monday, Feb. 20, 2:30-4pm   Price: $2600 Felted Slipper/clog Class - This is a three week class. In this slipper class, you will make an adult or child- size pair of clogs in your choice of colors. (Lambs Pride bulky) You will learn the process of felting. Tues., Feb. 21, 28, March 6       Time - 6-7:30pm               Cost - $39.00 plus supplies Top Down Basic Sock Class - This is a three week class - Top down, with heel flap and turned heel. We can do either one at a time of two, you get to decide. Pattern is included. Mon., March 12, 19, 26, 6-7:30PM             Cost - $45.00 pattern is included Granny Squares Class - Learn the basics of crochet in the round. Mon., Feb. 13, 2-3:30pm      Cost $20.00 plus supplies Learn to Knit Class - This class is strictly a technique class. You will learn the following: Cast on, knit & garter stitch, purl stitch, increases, decreases, yarn overs, binding off. These are the foundation stitches of knitting, which give you the ability to create projects of your own!
